How should I read Core versus Pro?
Use the series as a starting point, then check the manufacturer’s current description of each. Compare actual dimensions and volume with your own board rather than relying on the name.
Is Junior about age or size?
For a growing surfer, height, weight, ability and how quickly they progress matter more than age. Bring them in if you can so the fit can be judged properly.
What matters more than the series?
The waves you surf, your weight and fitness, and how your current board feels. Series help you shortlist; dimensions help you decide.
Before you come in
Whichever series catches your eye, the best starting point is how you surf today.
- Bring your current board’s dimensions and say what you like or dislike about it.
- For a junior surfer, bring their height, weight and a short note on their experience.
- Mention where you usually surf around Cronulla and the Sutherland Shire so we can talk about the waves you ride.
